National dog monument built by Keith Monument

Feb 12, 2014, 7:36am EST

Elizabethtown-based Keith Monument Co. helped to honor the country’s loyal canines by building the Military Working Dog Teams National Monument in San Antonio, Texas.  The monument, paid for with private donations, includes bronze statues of dogs and a dog handler on 3,000 square feet of granite, the News Enterprise reported. It was dedicated in the fall at Lackland Air Force Base.
